The health and safety of our residents is our top priority and we’re doing everything we can to safeguard all those entrusted to our care. At the same time, we are committed to providing the kind of calm, compassionate and high-quality care and services expected from Weinberg Campus. We deeply appreciate the support of our extended Weinberg Campus family and we thank you for the outpouring of kindness that our residents and staff members have received through these unprecedented times. Staying in Touch
We know visitor restrictions are tough, and we are happy to help you keep connected with loved ones, family and friends. Many of our families and residents have taken advantage of our “Skype” visits. We will also continue to deliver packages and virtual greetings.
Our Activities
We continue to have a robust schedule of programming for residents to stay active, including creative ways to play Bingo, one-on-one craft and art activities, resident-created newsletters, weekly puzzle packets, and door-to-door gift shop, snack and beverage carts. We are also streaming entertainment, movies, exercise classes, and worship services on our dedicated television channel.
Our Safety Measures
Our COVID-19 infection control practices across our campus meet guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Department of Health. We continue to take every step recommended by authorities to protect and screen our residents and employees. Staff members are using personal protective equipment to protect residents and themselves from spreading the virus, and we are practicing social distancing by staying a minimum of 6 feet away from others. We are pleased to announce that Weinberg Campus has a pulsed UV disinfection system proven to eliminate pathogens such as coronavirus from surfaces in seconds. This cutting-edge technology is used in many hospitals. Our facilities are also cleaned and disinfected using a 7-step process that follows CDC infection control guidance using hospital-grade disinfectants.
