ACTIVITIES INTERN – DOSBERG (BRAIN FITNESS)

Responsibilities:

Review available materials for the Brain Fitness/Insight Program and identify the benefits of this program; Assist with presenting to a small group of interested residents on the benefits of this program
Meet with designated staff to gain insight into the health and background of the participants
Meet with the graduates of Brain Fitness and discuss what they feel they have gained from the program
Establish weekly meetings with the Activities Director to discuss the status of participants
Review information on other ways to stimulate the brain; Meet with participants to identify how they can expand their progress with these activities/adjustments; Track progress on established goals
Develop and facilitate a series of computer lessons for residents who are at an introductory level to learn about the computer in general
