Volunteer  

Volunteers are instrumental to the lives of the residents, tenants, and program participants of Weinberg Campus. Volunteers quickly become a part of the Weinberg Campus family by assisting with a variety of activities, programs, and departments. Volunteering at Weinberg Campus is flexible, fun, and rewarding.

Whether you volunteer for one hour or for one hundred hours, every minute counts! Weinberg Campus volunteers often set their own schedules, assisting residents and program participants on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Volunteers can also choose to help during special events that happen throughout the year.

VOLUNTEERS are invaluable in adding to the quality of life for our seniors!  If you are interested in sharing your time and talents with Weinberg Campus please c
lick here for a volunteer application.  Kindly complete this application and fax it to the Volunteer Department at 716-639-3309.  You will also be asked to attend one of our upcoming Orientation Classes.

What Volunteer Opportunities are available?
Many opportunities to volunteer on campus exist including: Activity Assistant, Activity Instructor, Centerpiece Designer, Day Program Assistant, Day Trip Assistant, Deli Server, Eco Ambassador, Friendly Visitor, Game Master, Gift Shop Attendant, Librarian, Meal Deliveries, Office Assistant, Sewer/Mender, Shuttle Driver and Nursing Home Unit Assistant.

Internship Opportunities
Weinberg Campus provides college students with a valuable experience in completing their undergraduate internship requirements. At Weinberg Campus they gain the skills and knowledge necessary for working with seniors in activities, social work, human services, and physical/occupational therapy.
