A residential setting for people with memory loss or progressive frailty is found at Garden House Apartments of Weinberg Campus. The unique residential program provides a supportive environment that encourages individuals with memory loss to have a quality lifestyle. The residential program is an alternative when living at home may no longer be a safe option for your loved one who is experiencing memory loss or dementia. The unique secure setting was designed specifically for the ever changing needs of seniors. The one-of-a-kind program offers a living opportunity with furnished efficiency suites decorated with familiar belongings, caring and professionally trained staff, and programming and redirection for Sundowning Syndrome. Our services create an environment where your loved one can safely maintain his or her independence. Families will feel at ease knowing that their loved one is having experiences filled rich in daily activities, positive healthcare, and surrounded by caring staff and friends in a secure environment. Specialized memory care activities are provided for group and individual attention.
The Garden House Apartments features:
• A private and very accessible studio room, which includes furniture, a snack bar with refrigerator and sink, and private bathroom with walk in shower.
• Residents receive three warm and nutritious meals prepared to order by our full-time dining staff. A snack cart is available everyday as well.
• Short walking distances to meals and activities.
• Caring and professionally trained staff in memory care.
• Programming and redirection for Sundowning Syndrome.
• Stimulating activities program provides group and individual attention for residents to enjoy, such as the Alzheimer’s Association “Memories in the Making” program, color therapy, music programs, sing-a-longs with our player piano, daily light exercise class, reminisce games, storytelling, and spiritual programs.
• Community outings to enjoy bowling, museums, and favorite landmarks.
• The program provides maximum independence and social interaction, while providing security and comfort to the resident and peace of mind for family members.
• A separate home care agency is available to provide flexible care based on changing needs.
