Memory Works Program
Weinberg Campus is pleased to sponsor “Memory Works,” a program through the
Alzheimer’s Association WNY Chapter. Memory Works is a six-week brain stimulation program that incorporates games, puzzles, poetry, short stories, humor, socialization, mild exercise, and more to keep your brain and body active. Memory Works is designed for individuals diagnosed with early stage Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. The program is free but donations are kindly accepted. The programs are held in Amherst, North Buffalo, Lockport, and Niagara Falls. For more information, call the Alzheimer’s Association WNY Chapter at 716-626-0600.

Free Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group 
It is very difficult seeing a loved one cope with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Weinberg Campus understands that it is not easy and is pleased to offer a free Alzheimer’s Support Group for family members and caregivers. It is an opportunity to meet other caregivers who are coping with similar situations and to share ideas and experiences. The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets the third Thursday of the month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to provide support and useful information. The support group meetings are held at Garden House I, located at 2710 North Forest Road in Amherst. For more information, call Weinberg Campus at 716-639-3311, ext. 2250. The support program is coordinated through the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York.

Brain Fitness Technology Program
Weinberg Campus is pleased to offer Brain Fitness -- a breakthrough computer-based technology designed to improve memory and exercise your brain. Weinberg Campus is the only senior living organization in Western New York to implement this type of training program.

Respite Services Available for 
Community Members

An outreach program available to seniors living in the community is Respite Services at Weinberg Campus. Respite Services are offered as temporary room and board for those who reside in the community. Respite Services provide needed rest for family members, as well as allow for them to attend meetings, work, go on vacation, or spend time on special projects.
