ACTIVITIES INTERN – ROSA COPLON

Responsibilities:

• Conduct an activities initial Assessment interview focusing on obtaining past and present information pertaining to leisure time pursuits. Will also be responsible for retrieving pertinent information from residents chart (i.e. cognitive ability, physical orders, psychotropic drug use, and dietary restrictions)
• Will co-facilitate the “Resident activity planning committee meeting
• Will work directly with the Activities staff to gain an understanding of the clinical aspect of documenting resident’s activities goals and accomplishments
• Will attend at least one campus wide activity planning meeting

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate, all majors accepted
